Jason Bonham
Jason Bonham ( born July 15, 1966 in Dudley, Worcestershire, United Kingdom) is a British drummer. He is the son of Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham.
Jason Bonham began at the age of four years under the guidance of his father, to learn to play the drums. At 17, he played in his first band, before joining in 1985 the rock band Virginia Wolf and took up with these two albums. In 1987, with former Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page, he recorded the album Outrider and went on tour with him. The following year, he performed with the other ex- musicians of Led Zeppelin; occasion of the 40th anniversary of the record label Atlantic Records.
His first, hard rock - oriented solo album with original compositions he published in 1989 under the title The Disregard of Timekeeping. In the following years he acted on a Led Zeppelin cover bands and released more albums. Furthermore, he played from 2003 to 2006 for UFO. Then Jason Bonham was the drummer for the band Foreigner, until finally parted ways after interruptions in 2008. On 10 December 2007 he appeared at the O2 Arena in London during the reunion concert of Led Zeppelin in the footsteps of his father John " Bonzo " Bonham, who was the drummer for the band until his death.
In 2010, Bonham joined with Glenn Hughes, Joe Bonamassa and Derek Sherinian together to the group Black Country Communion. The jointly -produced album Black Country Communion was released on 16 September 2010. After this band broke up, he and Hughes and a 23 -year-old guitarist named Andrew Watt, the band California Breed.
