Jason Michael Carroll
Jason Michael Carroll ( born June 13, 1978 in Houston, Texas) is an American country music singer and songwriter.
By 2004 Carroll was playing in country bands in his native North Carolina, he won a TV competition in his state, and then began his solo career.
With his debut album Waitin ' in the Country he succeeded immediately an unusual breakthrough: Right away he made it to number one on the country charts and number 8 in the official U.S. album charts. His first two singles Alyssa Lies and Livin ' Our Love Song were among the top 10 on the country charts and was also successful on the Hot 100.
