Javier Aguirresarobe
Javier Aguirresarobe Zubía ( born January 1, 1948 in Éibar, Spain ) is a Spanish cinematographer.
Life
Aguirresarobe was born on 1 January 1948 in the Basque Éibar. He studied optics and journalism and then matriculated at the Escuela Oficial de Cine one from which he graduated in 1973.
In 1978, he first worked as a cameraman in a feature film, ¿ Qué hace una chica como tú en un sitio como este? .
Aguirresarobe has been awarded six Goyas for Best Cinematography. 2002 and 2004 he was nominated for the European Film Awards.
