Javier Oliva González

Javier Oliva González ( * May 29, 1975 in L' Hospitalet de Llobregat ) is a Spanish football goalkeeper. He played between 2009 and 2011 with FC Villarreal in La Liga, the Spanish top flight.

Career

Oliva began his career in the B- team of Espanyol. In 1994, he then returned to his home town of L' Hospitalet de Llobregat back and played the local CE, of this he was awarded in the 1995/96 season at Roda Bará, but returned immediately. After another season in the home of the goalkeeper moved in 1997 to the second team of FC Valencia, before he went to Terrassa FC. The wanderer signed a year later at Recreativo Huelva, before he again left this to Gimnàstic de Tarragona.

With the CD Castellón Oliva in 2002 then found those club to which he remained faithful seven years. After a few years in the Segunda División or Tercera he got as a 34 -year-old of 2009, the offer of Villarreal in the Primera División, which he accepted. He was engaged as a substitute goalkeeper. As a result, he came on 5 November 2009 for his debut at European club level. In the home game against Lazio during the group stage Oliva came on in the 52nd minute for regular goalkeeper Diego López. The game was won 4-1.
