Javier Sánchez

Javier Sánchez Vicario ( born 1 February 1968 in Pamplona ) is a former Spanish tennis player.

Career

In 1986 he was a pro, winning his first professional tennis tournament 1987. His first single tournament victory he could achieve in 1988 in Buenos Aires. Its highest ranking in the world ranking was number 23 in the single (1994) and No. 9 in doubles (1990).

Javier Sánchez sister Arantxa and his brother Emilio were also successful tennis player.

In 2000, Javier Sánchez retired from tournament tennis.
