Jaworzyna ÅšlÄ…ska

Jaworzyna Śląska [ javɔ'ʒɨna ' ɕlõska ] ( German royal tent) is a city in Poland. It is located halfway between Strzegom ( Striegau ) and Swidnica ( Schweidnitz ) in the Province of Lower Silesia and is one of the powiat Świdnicki to.

History

When it was built in 1843 the railway between Breslau and Freiburg in Silesia and the main cities and Striegau Schweidnitz ten were miles off the road. To connect these cities a cross-connection was built, which cruised to the fields of the village Bunzelwitz with the main line. There was a train station to the rapidly formed a district of the railroad.

She received in memory of the camp of Bunzelwitz where in the Seven Years War, the tent of Frederick II had been at that place in 1761, the name of King tent. There, in Bunzelwitz, the king closed the first Prussian- Ottoman alliance, which had no effect, of course.

King tent became a railway junction. 1853, the route from Freiburg was continued until Waldenburg, 1855 was the extension of the Schweidnitzer route to Reichenbach in the Owl Mountains and 1863 to Neisse. The route was extended Striegauer 1856 Jawor to Liegnitz. Because of the favorable rail links was 1863, the construction of the porcelain factory royal tent, which was incorporated into the 1929 Lorenz Hutschenreuther AG.

By 1945, King tent belonged to the county Schweidnitz. As a result of the Second World War, it fell in 1945 along with almost all of Silesia to Poland and was renamed Jaworzyna Śląska. The German population was expelled. Following the expansion of the porcelain factory, this was one of the three largest companies of its kind in Silesia.

1954 Jaworzyna Śląska received city rights, and the area of the city grew by 1.34 km ² to almost 4 km ². 1975-1998 belonged to Jaworzyna Śląska Voivodeship Wałbrzych.
