Jean-Baptiste Fleuriot-Lescot
Jean -Baptiste Edmond Fleuriot - Lescot (* 1761 in Brussels, † July 28, 1794 in Paris) was a French revolutionary. Of 10 May 1794 to his death, that is, at the height of the Reign of Terror, he was mayor of Paris. Was as Maximilien de Robespierre on 9 Thermidor II (27 July 1794) was arrested by the National Convention and later declared an outlaw, organized Fleuriot with François Hanriot and other followers of Robespierre a rebellion against the National Convention, but found insufficient support of the Paris sections and failed. Fleuriot was guillotined the next day along with 21 other Robespierrists.
