In Germany she was four weeks at No. 1 in Austria also 4 weeks, and in Switzerland 14 weeks. But later he was on the commercial success of this single, at least in the German-speaking countries, not able to go. Dolannes melody was composed by Paul de Senneville and Olivier Toussaint, and was the soundtrack for the film Un n'a pas de poche linceul ( German Title: A shroud has no pocket). The song was nominated in the category of " Best Original Score " for a César.

In this show, he combined his trumpet playing with fireworks and laser shows. The New York businessman Warner LeRoy offered Borrelly an appearance at his restaurant " Tavern on the Green " that is located in Central Park, and he offered him further appearances in many U.S. cities (eg, Miami, Boston, San Diego, Dallas ). Jean -Claude Borrelly agreed. His success in the U.S. rose: From 1995 to 2000 he performed in Las Vegas. Nevertheless, he never was able to place an album or a single in the U.S. Billboard charts. In 2001 he played the soundtrack for the French comedy La Grosse émission. In 2002 he played again for a French comedy film music: the Story Comédie. The next year he made together with Michaël Youn the soundtrack for La Beuze (also a French comedy ). As of June 2006, he went back on tour. The special thing about this tour was that he appeared in churches and cathedrals of France ( Amiens, for example, Lourdes, Peronne ). At the concerts sang various singers and Borrelly accompanied them with his trumpet. They sang gospel songs, works of classical music and film music.
