Jean De Bie

Jan De Bie ( born May 9, 1892 in Uccle / Ukkel, Brussels -Capital Region, † April 30, 1961, other spellings Jean De Bie, Jean Debie and Jan Debie ) was a Belgian football goalkeeper. He won the Belgian national gold medal in the Olympic football tournament 1920.

Jean De Bie spent most of his career at Racing Club de Bruxelles, 1934, he ended his active career.

With the Belgian national football team De Bie participated in three Olympic tournaments. The great triumph at the Olympics in your own country, however, was followed by two not so successful participation. In 1924 we had already failed in the opening game of Sweden with 1:8, 1928 could, after a 5-3 win over Luxembourg and Argentina do not claim and was subject to later finalists 3:6. 1930 was De Bie in the squad of the Belgian team for the World Cup in Uruguay in 1930.
