Jean Ersfeld (* 1953 in Ösling Luxembourg ) is a retired Luxembourgian politician.

Life

Until its bankruptcy on 8 November 2000 by the Commercial Court of Diekirch, Jean Ersfeld worked as a milkman in Medernach, where he became a local personality. Later, he then moved to Hoscheid. He is a native Ösling.

Policy

For the first time Jean Ersfeld occurred in the parliamentary elections on 13 June 1999 in appearance, as he was a candidate on the list of Déi steering and scored 392 votes.

After he was not elected to Parliament, he decided to set up their own party. On 24 October 2003, he then founded together with the LCGB trade unionists Mathias Didier in Rollingen the Fräi party Luxemburg (German " Free Party Luxembourg "). His party was oriented to beginning nor at the liberal- democratic politics, but moved gradually towards nationalism and Revolutionism. The party went on in the parliamentary elections of 13 June 2004, but ran only in the north of Luxembourg. The party in the north achieved only 0.69 % of all votes (which corresponds to 1,925 individual voices ), and thus all nine candidates of the catchment was denied to the Parliament, including Jean Ersfeld. At the national level, the party won 0.12 % of votes. Thus, the party lost largely in importance, which is why they no longer took in the parliamentary elections of 7 June 2009.

Instead, he ran on 7 June 2009 on the Biergerlëscht (Eng. "Citizens List" ) of his friend Aly Jaerling for the District of North as a leading candidate, as well as for the European Parliament. He was able to maintain a list strongest in the north, where he scored 351 votes, but this again was not sufficient for representation in parliament.
