Jean-Paul Proust

Jean -Paul Proust ( born March 3, 1940 in Vaas, Sarthe, France, † April 8, 2010 ) was Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Monaco.

He was prime minister since June 1, 2005, his office had because of the death of Prince Rainier III. delayed by one month. He was diagnosed three months earlier. Of Prince Albert and the French Government As before, all leaders in Monaco he does not come from Monaco and raised not to. ( Until recently, had to be the Monegasque government chief of French nationality. )

Previously, he was in the French civil service. From November 1989 to July 1991 he was Prefect of Guadeloupe. From 2001 to 2004 he was chief of police in Paris.
