Jean Pirro

Jean Pirro (* 1813 in Woustviller, † 1886 in Saint- Dizier ), also known as M. Pirro and Jean M. Pirro, is the author of the plan language Universalglot. He was born into a German-speaking family in Lorraine and was a teacher of the subjects German and music in Saint- Dizier. In 1868 he presented his plan language before in a book that almost simultaneously in German ( " attempt to Universalischen language", Bar -le- Duc ) and French appeared ( " Langue Universelle", Paris).

He is the father of the musicologist and organist André Pirro.
