Jeanette Bolden

Jeanette Bolden ( born January 26, 1960 in Los Angeles ) is a former American track and field athlete who won an Olympic gold medal in 1984.

Jeanette Bolden was already on the World Cup 1981, the U.S. team and won there in the 4x100 - meter relay. At the 1984 Olympics in her hometown of Los Angeles Bolden finished second in 11.25 seconds in fourth place in the 100 -meter run. The squadron in the cast Alice Brown, Jeanette Bolden, Chandra Cheese Borough and Evelyn Ashford won the final in 41.65 seconds with a second ahead of the Canadian season.

Bolden's fastest time of 11.08 seconds from the year 1986, situated at the meeting in Zurich. In 1983, she turned in the hall with 5.80 seconds over 50 yards and 6.60 yards over 60 world records. In 1986, she presented again with 6.54 seconds the world record one. In 1988, she ended her career after she is injured in the Olympic qualification for Seoul.

During her career Bolden studied at UCLA. After her studies she assisted Bob Kersee and Jeanette Bolden since 1994, is head coach of athletics at UCLA. She was also appointed as head coach of the U.S. women's team at the 2008 Olympics.

Jeanette Bolden had a competition weight of 65 kg at a height of 1.74 m. She is married and has two children.
