Jeff Radebe

Jeffrey Thamsanqa " Jeff" Radebe ( born February 18, 1953 in Cato Manor, Durban ) is a South African politician and Minister of Justice of his country.

Life

Radeba studied law at the University of Zululand, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws. In 1976, he joined the African National Congress in 1977, he left South Africa and first went to Mozambique, then to Tanzania and Zambia. There he worked for the ANC and the Umkhonto we Sizwe was formed (MK ). In 1981 he took a Master of Laws from the University of Leipzig. He was arrested in 1986 in Johannesburg and convicted of terrorism by the apartheid regime in South Africa for ten years on Robben Iceland. Radebe is married to Bridgette Radebe, South Africa's first mining entrepreneur and billionaire Patrice Motsepe sister.
