Jefferson Bellaguarda

Jefferson Bellaguarda ( born September 12, 1976 in Salvador, Brazil ) is a former volleyball player.

Career

Already in the years 2000-2003 played Jefferson Bellaguarda for Brazil successfully on the FIVB World Tour 2000/ 01 together with Paulão and 2002/ 03, he formed a duo with Dultra Jr. Since his marriage to a Swiss Bellaguarda lives in Switzerland and was temporarily operate only at the national beach volleyball tour because of the lack of player eligibility.

2009 formed Bellaguarda, now playing for Switzerland, together with Martin Laciga a Swiss national team. Shortly after the formation of the duo Laciga / Bellaguarda have experienced considerable success on the FIVB World Tour. End of 2010, Bellaguarda and Laciga parted. Jefferson Bellaguarda then took along with Patrick Heuscher than nominally strongest Swiss duo the goal Olympic Games 2012 in attack. In August 2011 Heuscher / Bellaguarda reached at the European Championship in Kristiansand fourth place.

In 2012, he finished after a ninth place at the XXX. Summer Olympic Games in London his professional sports career.
