Jenni Haukio

Jenni Elina Haukio ( born April 7, 1977 in Pori, Finland) is a Finnish poet and writer.

Haukio closed down in 2001 her studies in political science from the University of Turku.

Jenni Haukio has published three volumes of poetry. 1999 their debut Paitasi on pujahtanut ylleni ( your shirt slides over me), with whom she won the Runo - Kaarina competition. Your last collection of poems Sinä kuulet sen soiton ( You hear the music) brought 2009 Savukeidas Kustannus out. In German it is from anything.

She was press officer of the conservative National Coalition Party.

She is married to Sauli Niinistö, President of the Republic of Finland since 2009. Niinistö was widowed in 1995 after his first wife had died in a car accident.
