Jennifer Oehrli
Life
Jennifer Oehrli grew up with her younger sister in the Swiss customs Brück, in the canton of Bern. Your godmother and godfather are Cypriots and they often spend their holidays in Cyprus. She attended the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in La Neuveville ( Business School ) and has successfully completed the professional maturity. She plays football as a semi-professional and worked until her move to Germany as a commercial employee in the Basel FC office. Besides football, she studied sports psychology at the Université de Neuchâtel in New Bern, Switzerland.
Oehrli came by her two -year-older cousin to football. She began playing football in the same youth team at FC Zollbrueck. She played as a striker. When she was summoned for the selection of training U14 Bern / Jura selection, they suddenly played in goal because only one goalkeeper was present. She played in the club as a field player and in the selection as a goalkeeper until she was asked in 2003 by the SC Worb to play in the girls U-18 youth team as a goalkeeper. Only a year later, when the first team of SC Worb achieved promotion to the Swiss National League B (NLB), she was asked to join them. At just sixteen years Jennifer played the entire season in the NLB.
In the summer of 2006, she left the SC Worb and joined the National League A ( NLA ) for FFC Zuchwil 05 During the time when Zuchwil she gained international experience, played in the Women's Champions League 2006-07 and 2007-08. She was in the season 2006-07 the League Cup victory, the Swiss Championship and was celebrating Cup finalist.
After three years at Zuchwil, she moved to league rivals FC Thun. A year later she went in June 2010 for the Liga opponents FC Basel. She scored her first goal in the NLA with a penalty kick during the 10-0 home win over the GC Women on May 22, 2011. On June 21, 2013, the two-footed goalkeeper left the FC Basel and moved to German Bundesliga promoted BV Cloppenburg.
Selected teams
Oehrli played between 2004 and 2006 in seven appearances for the Swiss U -17 selection. On March 3, 2010, the goalkeeper, her senior international debut for Switzerland against Netherlands. After Marisa Brunner's retirement from international football, Oehri became the number 1 played their first game as the No. 1 on 5 May 2010 against France. During the game in the Cyprus Cup on March 13, 2013 against New Zealand, she suffered a forearm fracture.
Beach Soccer
In addition to professional football Oehrli played in 2010 for the Beach Soccer team of Bern, Sable Dancers in the Summer League.
