Jenny Bindon

Jenny Bindon Lynn ( born February 25, 1973 in Belleville, Illinois, born Bourn ) is an American- New Zealand soccer national team.

Career

Jenny and her twin sister Sarah operated during her youth at the Belleville West High School several sports such as basketball, volleyball, softball, tennis and cross-country running. Girls soccer was not offered. At college she played from 1991 to 1993 basketball, in the years 1991/92 and 1992 tennis football team for the Cougars of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She went on to the University and joined the United States Coast Guard on. From 1998, she continued her studies at Lewis University in Romeoville (Illinois ), where she also played soccer and basketball.

Following her marriage to Grant Bindon, the former captain of the New Zealand national volleyball team, whom she had met at Lewis University, she moved to New Zealand. The marriage comes a son.

In the National Team

On 18 February 2004 she was in her debut international match against Australia in the New Zealand women's national team. The game was lost with 0:2. In 2007, she participated with the national team at the World Cup in China. The Return of New Zealand to the World Cup stage, however, remained without a goal.

The following year, Bindon was a member of the national team in the Olympic football tournament in Beijing. New Zealand arbitration with one draw and two defeats in the first round.

On March 7, 2011, they denied their 50th game in the 2:5 defeat to France as part of the Cyprus Cup and so was most capped goalkeeper in the New Zealand Football. In summer 2011 she played with New Zealand at the World Cup in Germany. Again, the team was eliminated in the first round. In summer 2012, she takes part in London for the second time in the Olympic Games.
