Jenny Wanda Barkmann

Jenny Wanda Barkmann ( * 1922, † July 4, 1946 in Danzig) was camp guard.

Biography

Jenny Barkmann 1944 Warden in the Stutthof concentration camp. When the Red Army reached Stutthof, she tried to escape, but was on Wrzeszcz Railway (long vehicle ) near Danzig arrested. Together with Elisabeth Becker, Gerda Steinhoff, Wanda Klaff and Ewa Paradies, she was sentenced in the first process Stutthof death.

Your public execution by hanging took place on 4 July 1946 along with ten other convicts held on the hill Biskupia Górka (German Stolzenberg ) not far from Gdansk.
