Jens Debusschere

Jens DeBusschere ( born August 28, 1989 in Roeselare ) is a Belgian track and road racing cyclist.

Career

Jens DeBusschere was founded in 2006 on the web Belgian Champion in the Team Pursuit the junior class. The next year he was on the street Belgian champion in the road race and he won the Junior Ronde van Vlaanderen host the. He was also the Vlaams- Brabant Classic Zemst - Laar successfully and at a portion of the Keizer Juniores Koksijde. In the U23 class DeBusschere won the 2009 provincial championship in West Flanders and two stages in the Ronde van Vlaams- Brabant.

End of the 2009 season he drove topsport Vlaanderen Mercator as a stagiaire for the Belgian Professional Continental team. The following year, DeBusschere went again Stagiare, this time at Omega Pharma-Lotto, where he was under contract in 2011. In 2011, he joined the Lotto Belisol team that took over a large part of the driver of the team Omega Pharma-Lotto.

Family

His two older brothers Maxim DeBusschere and Kevin DeBusschere are also each cyclist. Maxim went in 2007 and 2008 for the Belgian Cyclocross Team Sunweb per job and the end of the 2009 season for UCI ProTeam Katusha, the Russian internships. 2010 drove Maxim and Jens together in PWS Eijssen Cycling Team.

The first successes in international elite race he scored in 2013 when he won the Kampioenschap van Vlaanderen, a stage and the overall classification of the Tour de l' Euro Métropole and the National Sluitingsprijs. He won this race in each case by victories in mass sprints.
