Jens Fischer

Jens Erling Fischer ( born August 24, 1946 in Bromma, Stockholm, Sweden) is a Swedish cinematographer.

Life

Jens Erling Fischer is the son of cinematographer Gunnar Fischer and it 's younger brother the cameraman Peter Fischer. As a child he accompanied his father on his film shoot. He was also in the films of Ingmar Bergman's The Seventh Seal (1957 ), Wild Strawberries (1957 ), Summer with Monika (1953) and The Face (1958 ) there, where he starred as a child actor in desire of women. Later he studied at the Sorbonne in Paris art and music history. After his return to Sweden, he started working as a photographer before he made his debut in 1986 with a children's movie The Children of Noisy Village as a cameraman for a movie. He won for his work on The Last Dance, ytan Under and The Queen of Sheba's Pearls respectively the Swedish Film Award Guldbagge for Best Cinematography, by which he was to record winners in this category.
