Jeri Taylor

Jeri Taylor Cecile (* June 30, 1938 in Bloomington, Indiana) is an American screenwriter and television producer. She received special recognition by their contributions to Star Trek. Taylor studied English at Indiana University and the California State University. She currently lives in Northern California.

Career

Taylor has written screenplays for various series like Little House, The Incredible Hulk. She was a producer and director for the TV series Quincy, Blue Thunder, Magnum, In the Heat of the Night, as well as Jake and McCabe - involved through thick and thin. On the recommendation of Lee Sheldon, with whom she had worked in Quincy, Taylor was at the beginning of the fourth season part of the production team of Star Trek: The Next Generation, in its last season they co- executive acted producer alongside Rick Berman and Michael Piller. During the final season, the three worked together to develop the successor series Star Trek Voyager and were hired as executive producers of the series. At the beginning of the second season, Taylor became the head of the writer of the series, and remained so until she sat down at the end of the fourth season to rest, leaving this task Brannon Braga.

Family

Jeri Taylor is the daughter of William Edward Suer and Ruah Loraze Suer. Her first husband was the sports presenter Dick Enberg. Currently, she is in a relationship with David Moessinger.

Taylor has two children, actress Amy Elizabeth Moessinger and actor Alexander Enberg, among other things, both in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek Voyager played a Vulcan.
