Jernvallen is a sports complex in Sandviken, sports facilities for ice hockey, bandy hockey, football, handball, tennis and other sports involves. In the building of 1938 completed the football team of Sandvikens IF and the Bandymannschaft of Sandvikens AIK play their home games. Nationwide awareness received the plant as the venue of two matches at the World Cup 1958.
The record attendance for a football game dates from 1957, when 20,288 camp followers pursued the clash of Sandvikens IF and IFK Norrköping in 1988 was set up with 5,880 supporters of the record for Bandyspiele the duel of Sandvikens AIK against Vetlanda BK.
Currently in Sandviken is the Göransson Arena under construction. When completed in late May 2009, this venue will be the Bandyspiele of Sandvikens AIK. In addition Sandvikens IF plans to compete there, and would thus be the first soccer team in Sweden, the austrüge their duty games in a hall.
