Jerome Assauer

Jerome Assauer ( born June 6, 1988 in Cologne ) is a German football player.

Career

The 1.86 m tall striker, who is not related to the former footballer and manager Rudi Assauer, began his career in 1996 in the youth teams of the BC Efferen. In 2001 he moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach, where he was until 2005 under contract. He then joined the 1st FC Cologne, where he played in the youth team. For the 2007/08 season he signed for second division side SC Paderborn 07 a three-year contract.

On 17 August 2007, he performed his first mission in the 2nd Bundesliga in the game at SC Freiburg.
