Jerome James

Jerome Keith James ( born November 17, 1975 in Tampa, Florida ) is an American professional basketball player. The 2.16 m wide center zurletzt played in the NBA for the Chicago Bulls, but is without a club since 2010.

Career

In his college years he played for the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. In NBA Draft 1998, he was engaged in the second round by the Sacramento Kings. In the fall of 1998 he took part in a European tour of the Harlem Globetrotters. The entire 1999/2000 season he missed because of a knee surgery. In the 2000/2001 season he played briefly with several European clubs: Fortitude Bologna, KK Budućnost Podgorica and ASVEL Lyon- Villeurbanne. From 2001 to 2005 he played for the Seattle SuperSonics, with whom he reached the play-offs in 2005. Then he worked as a free agent with the Knicks, where he received a doped $ 30 million five- year contract. There he was unable to repeat his previous performance in the 2007/2008 season, he completed only two games.
