1998 NBA draft
The NBA Draft 1998 was conducted on 24 June 1998 at General Motors Place in Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada). In two rounds each 29 players from NBA teams were selected.
In the first place the Nigerian Michael Olowokandi was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers, which has not paid for the Clippers. The selection of Olowokandi is now regarded as one of the biggest mistakes in NBA Drafts. Brad Miller was, however, along with Ben Wallace in 2003, the first nichtgedraftete player who was appointed to the NBA All- Star Game.
