Mike James (basketball, born 1975)
Michael Lamont James ( born June 23, 1975 in Amityville, Long Iceland, New York ) is an American professional basketball player.
Career
Michael Lamont James began his professional career between 1998 and 1999 in St. Pölten ( Austria ). He then 1999-2000 to Châlons -en -Champagne in France, where he played 28 games. He was never drafted and signed yet in 2001 a contract with the Miami Heat in the NBA. He then moved within the NBA first to the Boston Celtics (2003), then to the Detroit Pistons (2004), the Milwaukee Bucks (2004), the Houston Rockets (2005) and the Toronto Raptors (2005), where he met his breakthrough 20.3 points and 5.8 assists per game celebrated. After the season, he signed a contract for four years for approximately $ 20 million with the Minnesota Timberwolves. When the wolves playmaker acted until 14 June 2007. From January 2012 he played for the Chicago Bulls. Despite solid Statistics James was awarded a new contract in Chicago for the season 2012/2013. In January 2013, James finally decided to the NBA Development League to change and signed a contract with the Texas Legends, the Dallas Mavericks farm team. Shortly after his debut for the Legends James received a fixed-term contract to 10 days with the Mavericks. After another 10-day contract James got a contract for the remainder of the season. In September 2013, James returned to the Chicago Bulls, but was there discharged on 16 December 2013, and only came to seven inserts.
After point guard Kirk Hinrich of the Chicago Bulls had been canceled due to an injury in late January 2014 Mike James signs on January 22, 2014, a 10 -day contract with the Chicago Bulls. Since the expiration of his 10 -day contract with the Chicago Bulls, he is without a club again.
