Brad Miller (basketball)

Bradley Alan Miller ( born April 12, 1976 in Fort Wayne, Indiana ) is a retired American professional basketball player who played in the NBA. Miller was nominated twice for the NBA All -Star Game.

College career

From 1994 to 1998 Miller attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.

National Basketball Association

Due to the lockout, 1998 Miller began his professional career with the Italian club Bini Viaggi Livorno, for whom he played three months. After the end of the lockout pledged him the Charlotte Hornets as a free agent after he was not selected in the " Entry Draft " of the doped highest U.S. professional league NBA. After two years with the Hornets Miller moved again as a free agent with the Chicago Bulls. In January 2002, Miller was involved in a fight with Shaquille O'Neal.

In February 2002, Miller was traded along with Ron Mercer, Ron Artest and Kevin Ollie, in exchange for Jalen Rose, Travis Best, Norman Richardson and a second-round draft pick to the Indiana Pacers. In his first full season with the Pacers, he was first appointed to the All- Star team.

During the offseason 2003 Miller moved to the Sacramento Kings and was appointed to his first season, one more time for the NBA All -Star Game.

February 18, 2009 Miller and John Salmons exchanged in exchange for Drew Gooden, Andres Nocioni and Cedric Simmons to the Chicago Bulls.

When the Houston Rockets, he spent the 2010/2011 season, after which he was transferred in June 2011 as part of a trade to the Minnesota Timberwolves. After the 2011/2012 season Miller was transferred in exchange for a second-round draft pick to the New Orleans Hornets. His contract is valid in the NBA as a trade commodity, as it is about to end his career.
