1996 NBA draft

The 1996 NBA Draft was conducted in East Rutherford (New Jersey) on 26 June 1996. In two rounds each 29 players from NBA teams were selected.

In the first place Allen Iverson was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers.

Overall, the 1996 vintage is regarded as one of the best in NBA history.
