2009 NBA draft
The NBA Draft 2009 was conducted on 25 June 2009 at Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York. In two rounds of the 30 NBA teams were able to secure the rights to a total of 60 junior players.
The final draft order for the items 1 to 14 was determined on 19 May 2009 by the Draft Lottery. At this weighted lottery took the 14 teams that had not qualified for the 2008 /09 season for the playoffs, and some were set in reverse order of the Table of the Regular Season. The drawing won the Los Angeles Clippers, followed by the Memphis Grizzlies and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
All players who wanted to register for the draft had, regardless of their degree be born before 31 December 1990. If they were not " international player ", they could be also the earliest one year after their login graduated from high school.
