Jerry Calà

Jerry Calà (actually Calogero Calà, born June 28, 1951 in Catania ) is an Italian actor, screenwriter and film director.

Life

Calà formed in Umberto Smaila, Nini Salerno, Gianandrea Gazzola and Mallaby spray ( the latter two were in the late 1960s by Franco Oppini replaced) in Verona, where he had moved with his parents as a child, -based cabaret group Gatti di Vicolo Miracoli, with whom he enjoyed great success in Milan and plates recorded.

After a first experience in television discovered by Carlo Vanzina for the film, Calà first played purely comedic parts that were later expanded by films for a young audience, in which Calà mostly sympathetic, idealistic, but also success-oriented young man represented - similar to the audience to which successfully targeted by the films. Since the 1990s, his appearances are sparse; Calà operated more often behind the camera.

Calà, which also released numerous singles with songs from his films, played in 1986 in the television series Professione vacanze and the late 1990s, several times for the screen. Occasionally, he also assumes synchronous roles.

Since September 2002 Calà is married; he has a son.
