Jerry Ordway

Jerry Ordway ( born November 28, 1957) is an American comic book writer and signatory.

Life and work

Ordway began to work at the beginning of the 1980s as a technical pen for the U.S. publisher DC Comics. There he first participated in the design of series such as All-Star Suqadron and Infinity Inc.. Ordway in 1986 was engaged with the mascara drawing revisions by George Pérez ' pencil sketches for the commercially highly successful Maxi series Crisis on Infinite Earths.

In the late 1980s Ordway was charged to the author Marv Wolfman as a draftsman for the Adventures of Superman series to the side. After Wolfman's resignation as the author of Adventures of Superman 1989, Thomas Ordway, both the author and the illustrator tasks for the series Superman, in addition to Adventures of Superman and Action Comics at this time the main series to the famous superhero from the planet Krypton. After working for almost two years from 1989 to 1991 as an author and illustrator for the Superman series Ordway moved back to Adventures of Superman, while the previous author and Zeichnervon Adventures, Dan Jurgens, the Superman series took over. In 2001, he supported the comic veteran Stan Lee at whose project Just Imagine and recorded the output Just Imagine Stan Lee with Jerry Ordway Creating the JLA

Since then, Ordway, mainly as a fill-in artist involved so among other things for Superman: The Man of Steel 1,000,000, Joker: Last Laugh Secret File # 1 and Wonder Woman # 189-194 ( 2003).
