Jerry Trimble

Jerry Foster Trimble, Jr. ( born May 12, 1961 in Newport, Kentucky ) is an American- Canadian kickboxer, actor and stuntman.

Life and career

After Trimble at the age of 14 years, Bruce Lee, Bruce Lee - had seen death Greetings from Shanghai, he began to practice martial arts. In his hometown he trained Taekwon-Do with Richard Hamilton and reached in 18 months the 1st Dan. Later he devoted himself entirely to kickboxing and gave up his job in a Kroger supermarket and moved to Atlanta, Georgia. On June 6, 1980, he defeated in his first competition of the AAU champion Tommy Marshall in the fourth-round technical knockout, making it the Kentucky State Kickboxing Championship title secured. Under the ring name Golden Boy, he won several titles. Trimble was given its own column in the special interest magazine Karate Illustrated and opened his own in Marietta Trimble 's Martial Arts and Fitness Dojo. In 1986 he was PKA and PKC World Kickboxing Champion. In November 1989 he fought his last fight.

In 1990 he retired from active combat sport and moved to Los Angeles. Initially there Trimble Karate lessons in a Chuck Norris Studio, where he soon met a talent manager who took him under contract and sent to the first auditions. Since then, Trimble works primarily as an actor and stuntman. He joined, among others, in the movies Karate Tiger 5 - to king of the kickboxers, Heat, 3 Charlie's Angels and The Green Hornet.

Since 2002, he is married to the actress Ami Dolenz.
