Jerusalem Botanical Gardens

The Botanical Garden of Jerusalem (Jerusalem Botanical Gardens - JBG ) is a 1931 -founded Botanical Gardens in Jerusalem, near the Knesset (Israel). He belonged until 1994 to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, on whose campus it is today ( Givat Ram ). It is divided into the northern part (12 hectares ) and in the south (6 ha).

It was only in 1985 released to the public. In 1986, the greenhouse was opened.

Operator since 1996, the Botanical Garden Association, an association of the university, the city government, the Jewish National Fund, the Jerusalem Fund, the CG Fund and the Society of Friends of the Botanic Gardens.
