Jerzy Brzęczek
Jerzy Brzęczek ( born March 18, 1971 in Truskolasy in Częstochowa ) is a former Polish football player.
Career
Brzęczek began his career at Raków Częstochowa. His next club was Olimpia Poznań. In 1992, the central midfielder for Lech Poznań. With this club he was Polish champion. In 1993 Brzęczek Gornik Zabrze to. In January 1995, a further change to GKS Katowice took place. Thereafter he got his first foreign engagement with FC Tirol Innsbruck, for whom he played until 1997. Between 1997 and 1999, was his club LASK Linz. After financial problems Lask Brzęczek joined the Israeli football club Maccabi Haifa. In 2000, he made his comeback at FC Tirol Innsbruck, with whom he was Austrian champion twice. 2002, after the bankruptcy of the club, Brzęczek moved to SK Sturm Graz. 2004 FC Kärnten became his new employer, he left for the 2004/ 05 season to FC Wacker Tirol. After the 2006/ 07 season, his contract was not renewed under the new Wacker coach Lars Søndergaard. Then he left Austria and signed for the season 2007 /08 a contract with the Polish first division club Gornik Zabrze. For the second half of the season 2008/2009 played Jerzy Brzęczek for Polonia Bytom and completed nine season games before he ended his career.

With 307 Erstligaeinsätzen in which he scored 30 goals, Brzęczek is one of the foreigner with the most stakes in the Austrian league. He played 42 times in the Polish national team, but never at a European Championship or World Cup.
