Jesper Klein

Jesper Klein ( born November 13, 1944 in Næstved; † August 22, 2011 in Frederiksberg) was a Danish actor.

Life

Klein had originally wanting to be a musician, also began studying and working as a bar pianist, but in 1968 turned to acting. Without a classical education in this career already in 1969 a great success when he played on the stage in Camel Lady and the movie ballads om Carl -Henning, for which he also received the Danish Bodil Film Award, the title role interpreted. From now on, he was a sought-after performer mostly comic roles for the film and, primarily, for television. Especially often he participated in services for children and youth programs. In 1974 he formed with Tom McEwan and Jess Ingerslev the musical comic trio Avocets. 1984 Klein received a Robert for his role in Dear Father, I 'm sixteen ( Skønheden udyret above ).
