Bodil: Best Actor

Winner of the Danish Bodil Film Awards in the category Best Actor ( Bedste mandlige hovedrolle ). The Danish Association of Film Critics and Writers ( Danish Filmmedarbejderforeningen ) awards each year since 1948 his awards for the best film productions and filmmakers in late February or early March at a gala in Copenhagen.

The most successful in this category were Frits Helmuth (1978, 1990, 1994 ) and Jesper Christensen (1979, 2001 and 2006 ), which could triumph three times. With one more victory in the category for Best Supporting Actor are both (awarded Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor three times as 2012) Nikolaj Lie Kaas, together with the most esteemed actor. As the only non- Scandinavian actor in 1971 and 2010, the Briton Paul Scofield (King Lear ) and the American Willem Dafoe ( Antichrist) were classified in the list of winners.
