Jarl Kulle

Jarl Kulle ( born February 27, 1927 in Rebbelberga / Ängelholm ( Sweden); † October 3, 1997 in Gregersboda, Roslagen / Uppland ) was a Swedish actor.

Life

Scalloped was married in first marriage with the Baroness Anna Marie Louise Hermelin 1960-1968. With her he got the two children Maria (1960) and Anna (1963 - 1979). Then he got the daughter Mia scalloped Rydsjö (1970). In his second marriage he was married until his death in 1976 with actress Anne Nord. With her he had two more children, Hanna (1978) and Linda (1983).

Granton is generally regarded as one of the most important Swedish actor of his generation. For most of his career, he was a stage actor, where he mostly played the lead roles in classical theater, as in Eugene O'Neill's Long Day's Journey into Night, in August Strindberg's Gustav III. and Shakespeare's King Lear.

Scalloped also worked with the great Swedish director Ingmar Bergman, both on stage and in film (eg, in Smiles of a Summer Night, 1955).

In 1959, scalloped another step on the career ladder, when he played Professor Higgins in My Fair Lady in the Oscar Theatre, Stockholm. He received high praise for both the acting and singing as well as for dance performance, which he somewhat disparagingly as " bounce " designated. He became known with this role to a wide audience, so his commitment covering a wider range. In addition to romantic movie roles, he also played leading roles in musicals and comedies at Stockholm's private theaters.

Scalloped had a somewhat declamatory style, which helped him in 1983 to take over the lead role in the play Nyårsklockan for Georg Rydebergs in Stockholm's Skansen.
