Morten Grunwald
Morten Grunwald (actually Walter Morten Grunwald, born December 9, 1934 in Odense ) is a Danish actor and director.
He made his film debut in 1961 and was in 1965 with the lead role in the spy comedy Slå forestry, Frede ( German title caliber 7.65 - thieves Greetings from Copenhagen or Hau him first, Freddy ) and 1966 with its sequel Slap af, Frede his first major successes celebrate. He played together with many great Danish actors, as Ghita Nørby, Bodil Kjer, Axel Strøbye and of course Ove Sprogøe, Poul Bundgaard and Kirsten Walther.
He became internationally known in 1968 for his role of Benny Frandsen in the Olsen Gang films.
Life
Morten Grunwald attended from 1959 to 1961, the Drama School of the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen. After playing at several theaters, he directed from 1971 to 1998 even various successive Copenhagen theater, including the Østre - Gasværk Theatre. In 2000 he was seen in Germany in a commercial for Volkswagen ( VW). Morten Grunwald is married to Lily Weiding since 1965 and lives with her since 1994 in Skodsborg. In 2006 he dedicated to the Olsen Gang event in place Thisted the Olsen Gang silhouette one.
