Jens Albinus

Jens Albinus ( born January 3, 1965 in Bogense on Funen ) is a Danish actor.

Life

Jens Albinus ' parents were the priest and the teacher Erling Inger Albinus. He attended from 1985 to 1989, the Theatre School at Aarhus Theatre, then worked until 1994 at Aarhus Theatre itself was followed by engagements at various Copenhagen theaters, including the Danish State Theatre (until 2002). Some activities abroad (at the Volksbühne in Berlin and at the Basel National Theatre). Since 1999, Albinus staged itself plays, since 1996 he plays in movies and TV films, including idiots of the Danish film director Lars von Trier. In the years 2003-2006 Albinus played the lead role in the crime drama series The Eagle, a co-production of the Danish Danmark Radio transmitter and the Second German Television ZDF, through which he became known to the German public.
