Mikky Ekko

Mikky Ekko (* 1984 in Louisiana; actually John Stephen Sudduth ) he obtained is an American singer, songwriter and music producer international recognition by the title of Stay, which he sang together with Rihanna.

Life and work

Mikky Ekko was born as John Stephen Sudduth in Louisiana, the son of a priest. In his youth, Ekko and his father as nomads traveled through Louisiana, Mississippi and the rest of the Deep South. After they had settled in the Music City Nashville in Tennessee, he played in several bands and established himself as a songwriter for other artists, but soon began working on her own songs. In 2009 he was part of the line-up, founded in Nashville musicians collective Ten Out of Tenn.

His first release in 2009 was the EP Strange Fruit, which had been largely a cappella recorded. This was followed by further digital singles released in the same year. Here, the hip- hop producer Clams Casino was the song Who Are You, Really? attention to him. He then worked with Ekko together at the 2012 released single pull me down, which was later remixed by Ryan Hemsworth. Ekko has released two more singles in 2012: Feels Like the End, We Must Be Killers, which was used in the second season of the TV series Teen Wolf.

His greatest success came Ekko so far. Guest musician with the song Stay by Rihanna, in which he sang a duet with her The song is part of the 2012 published Rihanna album Unapologetic.

For his debut album Ekko is currently working together with Clams Casino, and many other well known producers such as Paul Epworth, Justin Parker and David Sitek.

Ekko is the music label RCA Records in New York City under contract.
