Jesper Worre

Jesper Worre ( born June 5, 1959 in Frederiksberg) is a former Danish racing cyclist and current cycling official.

Jesper Worre was an all-rounder, who has enjoyed success in the road as in track cycling. In 1977 he was master of the Danish junior team time trial in the 1980 Masters in the same discipline in the amateurs. In 1982 he finished second overall in the Settimana Ciclistica Lombarda. In 1983 he won the Giro del Veneto, 1986, the Tour of Denmark and Sweden in 1988, the Tour and the Tour of the Americas. In the Vuelta a España 1990, he won a stage. Once, in 1989, he competed in the Tour de France and was 88 He also started at six-day race.

1986 occupied Worre at the Track World Championships in Colorado Springs the third place in the individual pursuit, 1987, he was vice-champion in 1988 and again a third party. 1992 Worre tested positive for doping. He confessed his wrongdoing one immediately and has since been known for its strict line against doping.
