Jess Willard

Jess Willard ( born December 29, 1881 in St. Clere, Kansas, † December 16, 1968 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American heavyweight boxing champion.

On April 5, 1915, he won the title against Jack Johnson by knockout in the 26th round in Havana, Cuba. He lost his title on July 4, 1919 Jack Dempsey in Toledo, Ohio after 3 rounds.

2003 was Willard induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
