Jewish quarter (diaspora)

A Jewish quarter in which the Jewish population lived and worked there since the Middle Ages in many cities in Germany. Completed neighborhood where Jews lived, are - was introduced since this term in 1516 in Venice for that - but also referred to as the ghetto.
