Jewish Standard

The English-language weekly Jewish Standard is a publication for the Jewish community in the U.S. state of New Jersey, every Friday night goes on sale since 1931 and the oldest Jewish newspaper in New Jersey.

Its distribution area includes Bergen County and northeastern New Jersey, the Gateway Region.

At the time of the Jewish Standard has a circulation of 24,000 copies, which will be published in Teaneck. For New Jersey the competitor is the New Jersey Jewish News.

Expansion

1984, the company took over the publication of the Jewish Community News, a Jewish journal of Passaic County. As of 1991, the company released the Rockland Jewish Reporter, the official journal of The Jewish Federation of Rockland County. As of 2002, the company About Our Children published as an information source for Jewish families.

The magazines have numerous awards from the American Jewish Press Association, the North Jersey Press Club, the Society of Professional Journalists and recovered from Parenting Publications of America.
