Jiangxia District

The municipality Jiangxia (Chinese江夏区/江夏区, Pinyin Jiangxia Qū ) is a municipality of the province of Wuhan City, the capital of Hubei province, People's Republic of China. It has an area of 2014.5 km ² and has 658 735 inhabitants ( end of 2004). It is located on the southeastern shore of the middle Yangtze River.
