Xinzhou District, Wuhan

The city of Xinzhou District (Chinese新洲区/新洲区, Pinyin Xinzhou Qū ) is a municipality of the province of Wuhan City, the capital of Hubei province, People's Republic of China. It has an area of 1409.7 km ² and has 957 576 inhabitants ( end of 2004). It lies on the north bank of the middle Yangtze.
