Jillian Richardson

Jillian Richardson ( Cheryl Jillian "Jill" Richardson, after marriage Richardson Briscoe, born March 10, 1965 in Trinidad ) is a retired Canadian sprinter, who comes from Trinidad and Tobago. Your special discipline was the 400 -meter run.

In the 4 x 400 - meter relay team won with the Canadian team at the Commonwealth Games in 1982 in Brisbane Gold, finished at the World Athletics Championships 1983 in Helsinki fourth place and won silver at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles Silver.

In 1986 the silver medal over 400 meters at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh. On top of that she succeeded with the Canadian team to defend the title in the relay. In 1987 she was after another silver medal at the Pan American Games in Indianapolis Sixth. At the World Championships in Rome in the individual competition and came up with the Canadian relay to fourth place

The following year, she reached the semi-finals at the Olympic Games in Seoul. In the season finale, the Canadian quartet did not reach the target. In 1989, she won bronze at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Budapest and gold at the Games of La Francophonie.

At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 they finished fifth and ran with the Canadian relay to fourth place.

Twice she was Canadian champion in the 200 m ( 1988, 1989 ) and once over 400 m ( 1987).
