Life

The first successes as a member of the Browns

Jim Ed Brown grew up on a farm in Arkansas. After winning a talent contest he had with his sister Maxine first appearances on local radio stations. Later they were joined by Bonnie, another sister to. Together they formed the trio The Browns, with the The Three Bells had a worldwide hit in 1959.

Solo career
