Jim Houghton

James Houghton ( born November 7, 1948 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor and screenwriter.

Biography

Early on James Houghton was given an insight into the world of show business, as his father Buck Houghton was a successful film and television producer. After completing his schooling at a Swiss boarding school, Houghton decided to study economics, the study broke after three years from the date again, to devote himself to acting. He became popular through his interpretation of the Greg Forrester on the soap opera Young and the Restless (1973-1976), before he in the television series Knots Landing (1979-1983), North and South (1986 ), The Empire - The Colby's (1986 -1987 ) or the movies even more American Graffiti (1979 ), the Witch (1982) and Purple People Eater - The Little Purple people Eater (1988 ) was seen.

In addition to his career as an actor, he also aspired to work as a screenwriter for the American television series.
